About this experience
A practical day for people planning to buy their first home. Dana tours three currently listed homes with you across a few Los Angeles neighborhoods and shows you what she checks in each one: the roof line, the electrical panel, water stains, permits and what the listing photos leave out.
Back at the office you compare the three homes side by side, estimate monthly payments with taxes and insurance and write a practice offer on your favorite using a real purchase agreement form. Dana explains each contingency and which ones buyers give up too easily.
