About Cody
Cody Harlan started racing go-karts as a kid and moved into late models on Saturday-night short tracks across the Carolinas. He spent years loading his own car on a trailer, driving to races and fixing whatever broke during the week before he got his chance in a national stock car series.
He has since run full seasons for a small independent team, where drivers are expected to help with sponsor visits, testing feedback and everything in between. During race weekends his day is built around practice, qualifying, strategy meetings with his crew chief and the race itself. Between races he coaches younger drivers on racecraft and on how to present themselves to sponsors.
Cody hosts because most fans only see the race on TV. He wants people to see the garage, the strategy conversations and the amount of work a small team puts in to stay competitive.
