Show Night: Backstage with an Independent Artist

About this experience

Spend a show night with Skyline at a mid-size Atlanta club. You arrive for load-in and soundcheck, watch him and his DJ work through monitor levels with the house engineer and see how the set list gets built around the room and the crowd.

You hang in the green room before the set, watch the show from side stage and help run the merch table afterward. At the end of the night you sit in as he settles up with the promoter and see how ticket counts, the door deal and merch sales add up to what the artist actually takes home.

   Load-in

   Help bring in gear and merch and meet the venue staff.

   Soundcheck

   Watch Skyline, his DJ and the house engineer set monitors and levels.

   Set list and green room

   See how the set is planned and how he gets ready before going on.

   Merch and settlement

   Help at the merch table, then sit in on the end-of-night settlement with the promoter.

• Guests must be 18+ with a photo ID because the venue serves alcohol. Drinks are not included.
• Venues are loud; earplugs are provided and recommended.
