About this experience
This day stays in the sample room. Marisol and her sample maker walk you through how a flat sketch becomes a paper pattern, starting from the block she uses for her best-selling hoodie and adjusting it for a new fit.
You trace and grade a pattern, cut fleece on the table and sew key seams on an industrial machine with the sample maker beside you. Then you do a fit check on a dress form and mark up the changes the way her team does before a style goes to the factory.
