TagAlong Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines explain the behavior standards for all users, Providers (Curators), guests (Explorers), and participants using TagAlong.

Our goal is to create a safe, respectful, trustworthy, and enjoyable marketplace for real-world and virtual Experiences.

By creating an account, listing an Experience, messaging others, booking, attending, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to follow these Guidelines in addition to the Terms of Service, Liability Waiver, Curator Agreement, and other applicable policies.

Violations may result in warnings, suspensions, cancellations, removals, or permanent loss of access.

0Eligibility

TagAlong is available only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. Accounts and Bookings on behalf of minors are not permitted. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will terminate the account. There is no "guardian supervision" exception; minors may not be participants in any TagAlong Experience, regardless of the Curator's consent.

1Respectful Behavior

All users, Providers, guests, and participants on TagAlong must treat others with respect, professionalism, and basic courtesy.

You may not engage in harassment, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, intimidation, threats, stalking, retaliation, unwanted sexual behavior, abusive language, or conduct that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome.

Differences in opinion may occur, but disagreements must remain civil.

Users are expected to communicate honestly, respectfully, and in good faith before, during, and after any Experience.

2Safety First

User safety is a core priority on TagAlong.

You may not engage in violent behavior, reckless conduct, dangerous intoxication, coercion, unsafe driving, property damage, weapon-related misconduct, or any action that creates unreasonable risk to yourself or others.

You must follow applicable laws, venue rules, safety instructions, and reasonable directions from Providers or authorized personnel during any Experience.

If a situation feels unsafe, users should leave when reasonably possible and report the issue promptly through available support channels or emergency services where appropriate.

TagAlong may restrict or remove access to protect users and the community.

3Honesty & Authenticity

Users and Providers on TagAlong must act honestly and present themselves truthfully.

You may not create fake accounts, impersonate another person or business, misrepresent your identity, qualifications, age, availability, pricing, intentions, or the nature of an Experience.

Listings, messages, reviews, claims, and support reports must be truthful and not misleading.

Fraud, scams, bait-and-switch conduct, deceptive promotions, false emergencies, fabricated complaints, or attempts to obtain money, refunds, access, or benefits through dishonesty are prohibited.

Trust is essential to the community, and repeated dishonesty may result in suspension or permanent removal.

4Privacy & Boundaries

Users must respect the privacy, consent, boundaries, and personal space of others on TagAlong.

You may not secretly record others where prohibited, share personal information without consent, pressure others into unwanted contact, continue communication after clear refusal, or misuse photos, videos, or private messages.

Users should honor personal, professional, and social boundaries before, during, and after any Experience.

5Illegal & Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the platform for unlawful, exploitative, or harmful activity.

This includes theft, assault, trafficking, fraud, drug distribution, extortion, vandalism, trespassing, unlawful weapons activity, solicitation of illegal services, money laundering, copyright infringement, or violating applicable laws and regulations.

Any attempt to use the platform to facilitate criminal or dangerous behavior may result in immediate removal and referral to authorities where appropriate.

6Platform Integrity

Users may not interfere with the proper operation of TagAlong.

Prohibited conduct includes hacking, scraping, spam, fake reviews, chargeback abuse, manipulating rankings, exploiting bugs, unauthorized advertising, phishing, off-platform fee circumvention, or attempting to bypass safety systems or platform rules.

Users must use the platform in good faith and only for legitimate bookings and interactions.

7Reporting & Our Response SLA

Every user can report content or conduct that violates these Guidelines from any user profile, conversation, listing, or message.

Block functionality is available alongside Report on every user profile and conversation.

We commit to the following response timelines:

Urgent reports (threats, sexual misconduct, illegal activity, unsafe conduct)

Initial review within 24 hours of submission.

Immediate temporary suspension of the reported account when there is a credible threat of imminent harm.

Standard reports (harassment, scams, impersonation, spam, inappropriate content, discrimination)

Initial review within 72 hours.

Resolution typically within 7 business days; complex cases may take longer with a status update to the reporter.

These commitments meet or exceed the response expectations published for user-generated-content marketplaces in the App Store Review Guidelines (specifically Guideline 1.2) and in the Google Play UGC Policy.

For life-threatening emergencies, always contact local emergency services first (911 in the United States). The in-app SOS button supplements but does not replace emergency services.

8Copyright & Intellectual Property

You may not post content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.

Copyright owners may file a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) through our DMCA Policy. Repeat infringers will lose access to the platform.

9Enforcement Actions

TagAlong may investigate reported or detected violations and may take action to protect the community.

Enforcement may include warnings, content removal, refund denial, booking cancellation, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, permanent account removal, payout holds, evidence preservation, or referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate action without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

Suspended users may appeal through the in-app Appeals flow within 14 days. We respond to appeals within 7–14 business days.

10Final Acknowledgment

By creating an account, using the platform, messaging others, listing an Experience, booking, or participating through TagAlong, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines.

You understand that violations may result in loss of access to the platform and other appropriate consequences.
