Delete your TagAlong account
You can delete your account at any time. The fastest path is from inside the app. If you no longer have access, use the request form below.
From the app (fastest)
- Open TagAlong and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion.
Your account is disabled immediately. Personal information is purged from production systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days, except for records we are required to keep by law (financial records under the 7-year IRS rule, identity verification records subject to AML/KYC obligations, and any records subject to a legal hold).
If you can't access the app
Submit the form below. We'll verify the request by email and process it within 30 days. You can also email privacy@tagalongnow.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request."
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, phone, photos, bio, preferences).
- Your messages with other users.
- Your search and browsing history within TagAlong.
- Saved payment methods (we instruct Stripe to delete; Stripe retains transaction records per its own policy).
- Your push notification tokens and device identifiers.
What we keep
- Booking, refund, payout, and tax records — retained for 7 years per IRS rules.
- Identity verification metadata — retained per AML/KYC obligations.
- Reviews you posted about other users — dissociated from your account and shown as "Former member."
- Records subject to active legal hold or law-enforcement preservation order.
- Anonymized or aggregated analytics that no longer identify you.
Privacy rights
In addition to deletion, you may have the right to access, correct, or port your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. File a request under Privacy or email privacy@tagalongnow.com.
